Return Policy

At Thelaxenathax, we want you to be satisfied with your workshop experience and any products you may purchase. This Return Policy outlines our policies regarding returns, refunds, and cancellations.

Return Period

For physical products purchased through our website or at our studio, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. The item must be returned to us within 21 days of your initial return request.

For workshop bookings, cancellation policies vary based on the type of workshop and timing of the cancellation. Please see the "Order Cancellation Policy" section below for details.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original tags and packaging intact
  • Items must not show signs of wear, damage, or use
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be provided
  • Custom or personalized items may not be eligible for return unless defective
  • Items purchased on sale or at a discount may be subject to different return terms as specified at the time of purchase

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions or to charge a restocking fee for items returned in less than satisfactory condition.

Cost of Return Shipping

If you are returning an item due to our error (such as shipping the wrong item or a defective product), we will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label.

If you are returning an item for any other reason (such as change of mind), you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within the return period using the contact information provided below
  2. Provide your order number or proof of purchase, the reason for return, and photos of the item if applicable
  3. We will review your request and provide return authorization and instructions
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging if possible
  5. Ship the item to the address we provide, using the shipping method of your choice (we recommend trackable shipping)
  6. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange

Please do not return items without first contacting us and receiving return authorization. Returns sent without authorization may be refused or delayed in processing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Items that have been used, worn, or damaged after purchase
  • Perishable goods or consumable items
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Custom or personalized items (unless defective or incorrect)
  • Items purchased more than 14 days ago
  • Items without proof of purchase
  • Items that have been altered or modified
  • Gift cards or vouchers (unless required by law)

General Legal Requirements

This Return Policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws. If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights that differ from this policy, those rights will apply to the extent required by law.

For consumers in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a contract for the purchase of goods within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods. This right does not apply to certain types of goods, including customized or personalized items.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. If you believe your statutory rights have been violated, you may contact your local consumer protection agency.

Order Cancellation Policy

Workshop Bookings

Workshop cancellations are subject to the following terms:

  • 14+ days before workshop: Full refund or credit toward a future workshop
  • 7-13 days before workshop: 50% refund or full credit toward a future workshop
  • Less than 7 days before workshop: No refund, but credit toward a future workshop may be available at our discretion
  • No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund or credit

If we cancel a workshop due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather or instructor illness), you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available workshop.

Product Orders

You may cancel an order for products within 24 hours of placing the order if the items have not yet been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, standard return procedures apply.

To cancel an order, contact us immediately using the contact information provided below. Include your order number and the reason for cancellation.

Refund Procedure

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method.

Refund processing times:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days after approval
  • Debit card refunds: 3-5 business days after approval
  • PayPal refunds: 3-5 business days after approval
  • Other payment methods: Processing times vary by provider

Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit your account after we process the refund.

If you requested an exchange instead of a refund, we will process the exchange once the returned item is received and inspected. You will be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs.

If we determine that a returned item is not eligible for a refund, we will notify you and arrange for the item to be returned to you at your expense, or we may offer a partial refund at our discretion.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you receive the correct item in a timely manner.

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or exchange at no additional cost to you, including covering return shipping.
